started out couchsurfing while studying abroad in england 7 years ago and at it again this summer. will be hitchhiking across eastern europe this summer and looking to meet some weirdos along the way

i love the way conversation reaches late into the night with someone you barely know. looking forward to meeting more people to coalesce with.

love travel, love stories, love the people who make both memorable. more of a conversation over wine kinda person than a party lady, but like to go all out every once in awhile. fell asleep inside a fridge once.

my reason for travel:

new experiences slow time down. when we're young and still learning, time seems to slow down a lot because our brain needs more to process new stimuli. the older we get and the more we are exposed to, the faster time speeds up. that's why 2nd grade summers climbing trees and swimming at the pool seems like lifetimes compared to 3 months of work 5 days a week.

favorite memory: paul mccartney did a 2 hour encore at the end of his set.

hitchhiked from Thailand to India helping a friend gather recipes for a human rights cookbook. rode a watermelon truck through the mountains for 26 hours.
