ABOUT ME

I love finding an adventure and excitement in everything I do. I rock climb in my free time. I'm very goal oriented and love to travel. I'm pretty athletic, love to swim and run. I have ran two half marathons, 25km trail run and several 5-10km races. My longest swim is 2km across the Ottawa River. I have just started a tri training club at the YMCA.
I'll try anything once!!

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to people. You never know what they have been through. Everyone has a story, open your ears and listen. Physical and mental health are connected. Holistic healing is the way to go.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to find my limits and push right past them.
Moved many times in my life as a grew up in a military family.

I currently own my own home with my fiance have a small dog and two cats. They are very friendly.

Brand new at this but looking forward to meeting people.

Interests

Volunteering, traveling, continuing education (yes I'm a dork!), reading, rock climbing, swimming, running particularly fun interesting races.

I love cooking and I believe I'm quite good at it. Baking on the other hand is a scary store as I burn most of what I make. Guess I would only survive on ' chopped' until the dessert round!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I like most music. Love to go to concert when I can. I will listen to pretty much anything however I prefer the top hits.

Movies!! Love a good chick flick or comedy. Nothing is better than having a good laugh. However to be honest I don't watch much tv as I am usually pretty busy. If I wad to watch something it would be on netflicks.

Books; just finished the hunger game series which I loved. Just started reading for pleasure again. As those who are in school know, when your in school you don't read anything other than your text books.

Rock climbing!!! I will pretty much take any opportunity to share my passion for rock clinging with anyone I can't. People either love it or hate it.
