About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently living just outside of Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I plan to teach and travel as much as possible in the next year!

ABOUT ME

I love to travel (likely a given on this site) and since my career aspirations have yet to pan out I save my money from my part-time work to travel as much as possible before I start working and making big (ie. home) purchases. So far I have been to about half of Canada's capital cities, Mexico, Florida, Greece, Italy, Turkey, New Zealand, Australia's East Coast and Northern Territory, England, and California.

PHILOSOPHY

We've only got one shot at this life, might as well live it to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met an amazing family in Auckland, NZ...met a great couple in Cairns, Australia, couch surfed after getting quite lost in San Franscisco, stayed a night in Hollywood, and hosted an Australian and an American when living back in Canada - all great experiences!

Interests

fitness, food/nutrition, travel, movies, various types of music, swimming, biking, running, reading, photography, nature & environmental issues, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently bookless as my Ereader died at Toronto airport before I left for Australia... and love listening to Adele and Imogen Heap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far the most amazing trip/thing I have seen was in Northern Vancouver Island (BC, Canada) where I went whale watching. A killer whale breached just metres from our beach-front camp while we ate dinner - it was like an amusement park show, only in the wild!
