About Me
Hello! In my life right now I am studying abroad in Scotland. This has been a dream of mine since middle school and I'm finally living it out! I'm a pretty laid back person. Ever since I left the United States for the first time to go to Costa Rica, I haven't been able to stop traveling and seeing everything I can!
My personality can range from being the quiet one you enjoy the company to, the goof ball who can't stop laughing from pure happiness, or what ever I feel like I need to be in a certain moment. I can be the person to pull you up when you fall, or sit right down next to you when you aren't ready to get back up yet.
I don't like to talk about myself that much, but these are mainly things about myself that my best friends have emphasized that they loved.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I am studying abroad half way across the world (for me) I want to see as much as I can considering my time and money. Couch surfing allows me to fly to a whole other country because of the money that I will save.
Also, I believe that going to new places includes seeing more that is just on the surface. I want to stay with people so I can experience their culture first hand, and also (possibly) get inside tips on where I should go in their city that is "off the beaten path." I believe that those are more beautiful that most sites you find in a brochure.
Interests
I'm a big fan of sports back home. I do fantasy drafts for American Football, and end up yelling at my screen if someone takes that player I wanted. If you don't know what fantasy football is, message me.
I am connected to the teams that I root for and give them my whole heart. When they lose, I lose.
I also enjoying reading and learning. I truly believe that although I may complain about school during exam weeks and such, I am a student at heart. I could probably get my doctoral degree and not know what to do after that. Off to another subject I guess!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all types of music, and love to experience the music of a specific culture. There was nothing better than being on the Caribbean coast in Costa Rica and hearing traditional Reggae play in the background. Pura Vida!
That being said, I do always, without hesitation, always fall back on country music. It is what I have grown up with my whole life and it brings a certain sense of a long lost home back to my ears.
Movie and books run side by side for me. I like my entertainment to make me feel something. Not just a second of thrill from a scary movie, but a sentence in a book that stays with you for days and makes you put down the book just so you can catch a breath.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the amazing things that I have done, is going on right now. I fought and held my ground saying: I want to study abroad. It took a lot of planning, but not only that. It mostly took the faith within myself that I would make it.
It almost didn't feel real when I stepped down in Glasgow, Scotland.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my personal experiences with hosts and show them the beauty that can come out of an unexpected life. I'm not going to type my story out here, but I do believe that there isn't a person you wouldn't love if you didn't truly know their story.
