Im a girl who is seeking to build a life in Chicago. Im one and a half years into transition. I was born and raised in Chicago under a very traditional and religious family who had trouble accepting where I was going with my life. Being gay in my family is not really accepted, let alone trans! I've gone through a tremendous amount of growth out here in California. Im strong enough now to share my transition with my family despite not being accepted. I miss Chicago dearly and Im ready to begin a life out there again. Im enployed as an office admin assistant for a sales firm in southern California. Im seeking similar positions in Chicago as we speak. Im using job search apps and websites like craigslist and also friends and the family members who accept me to help find employment in Chicago. I cannot wait to start my new life there. I will be surrounded by such a rich city culture. The sports, the food, the people and arts. I cannot wait. The next step would be finding a couch for a little while until Im on feet :)

I really love Chicago deep dish pizza, the sports teams, the art, the rich greenery of the midwest (los angeles is very brown), the people in Chicago are great. The diverse culture and night life fascinates me. Im enjoy burningman and have many burner as friends in California.

I have a favorite musician and a favorite band and song in every genre of music. Same with movies and actors in film. I like movies with lessons and rather intense story lines. I love a happy ending. My favorite drama for example is Shawshanks redemption. I enjoy self help books on how to better your life and make money. Im a huge Tony Robbins fan. I enjoy discussing Philosophy and reading about it.

I would say going through a transition from boy to girl with hormone therapy has been beyond amazing. I consider myself to be a very brave person. I would say that constitutes "Amazing" LOL!
