I will be back in Austin August 21th! I am traveling around Europe now!

I'm Jenna McLeskey, a public relations major and business foundations minor at The University of Texas at Austin. I love to travel and make great friends. I live in the city of Austin, but I have been living and working in Barcelona for the summer. Now I am going on a 21 day vacation to other countries in Europe before I come back home to Austin on the 21st of August.

I grew up 30 minutes from the city of Austin on Lake Travis, where I enjoy boating and jet skiing with friends on the weekends!

My career interests are in all things public relations and advertising, entrepreneurship, marketing, and non-profit organizations. By learning from my surroundings and constantly challenging myself to step out of my comfort zone to go after the future I want for myself, I get closer to my goals everyday.

I care about the ocean, education, and the world in general. My hobbies are acting, writing, trying new things, and being active with people. What makes me happy is traveling. One destination that I really want to journey to next is the coral triangle near Indonesia and the Philippines to absorb the culture, scuba dive, and swim with whale sharks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been living and working in Barcelona for the past two months, and I love it! I am traveling, in this order, to Berlin, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples-the Amalfi coast, Bari, Zakinthos (Navagio Beach), Santorini, Athens, Split, the Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Budapest, and back to Barcelona to fly home to Austin.

With this busy and expensive travel itinerary, I will be almost broke still needing a place to stay. That is why I am couchsurfing now. Also, I have always loved showing people around my home in Austin and making it a positive and memorable experience for them- taking them out on my boat, showing them the best clubs/bars/restaurants, Austinite things etc. So, the couch surfing can be mutually beneficial and we can learn something from one another.

Interests

I love scuba diving and snorkeling, being active, hiking, sports, going to the beach, skiing, photography, dancing, yoga. I am an actress and model.
