We are a Finnish couple (27 & 30 years old), who loves to travel. Our big dream has come true; we have sold almost everything we own and we are traveling around the world without a return-ticket. We have been on the road since August 2016.

We are both very outgoing and laid-back. We like doing whatever makes us feel good at the moment. Sometimes it's a 50 km bike tour or doing some other sports like swimming or yoga and sometimes it can be just good street food and few drinks with friends.

We are not "let's stay home" kind of people but sometimes we like just to chill at the sofa and watch movies or tv-series many hours a row.

We are budget-travelers and we love to save money in every situation. Though that isn't the reason why we are Couchsurfing, because we also love to meet new people and really get to know the culture. We think that you get the best places, best stories and best memories if you hang out with local people. Saving money comes as bonus.

Música, películas y libros

Jenna:
I like to listen almost any kind of music, especially live. Maybe death metal or classical are not my favorite, but in right kind of situations those go also.

I like to watch movies, but I have bad habit to fall asleep during the movie (not in theaters though). Then I can choose to watch the movie later again or use my imagination and create the story on my own. It is hard to choose favorite movie, but I can tell my favorite tv-shows: Mr. Robot, Walking Dead, Prison Break, Breaking Bad and Planet Earth.

Books are nice way to spend time especially when traveling and going from place to another. I don't have any favorite writers or books, I usually read kinda light literature fiction books, because for me reading is a way to relax.

The most amazing thing we have done is the decision that we sell everything, leave our jobs and go travel around the world without any bigger plans or schedules.

Jenna:
If you want to know one specific thing, I would say Titanic-pose with my boyfriend Jari on ship deck which was 40 meters under water.

Jari:
One of the most amazing things that I've done personally is that I quit smoking in July 2015.

Jenna:
I like to cook and I can proudly say that I am pretty good at it. I like to make food from different cultures and countries. My roots are in Eastern part of Finland and there are many nice traditional foods I can teach you to make. I am also willing to learn new things and foods from your country and culture.

Music is very big part of my life, even though I don't see myself so musical. I am interested in learning to play djembe.

Jari:
I'm an amateur self-learned graphic designer and photographer who is willing to learn a lot more in the near future. My dream in the future would be to partly work as a freelance photographer or graphic designer. If you are interested or know about these topics I bet we have nice time sharing knowledge and ideas.
I'm also interested to learn to play any instrument there is to play. I've played some guitar in the past but never got too good with it so maybe it is time to wake the musician in me again :)

I've been training different martial arts for years and can give basic lessons for example in Thai boxing.
