I’m heading on a solo backpacking trip in 2019 and am looking forward to meeting some locals! I’m a pretty goofy person who is always down to try new things. I love to hear about others travel stories, experiences and recommendations. I love to learn and especially love to talk anything science. I have my degree in engineering and hope to one day work in the biomedical field.. but first I’m trying to see as much of the world as possible! In summer 2017 I rode my bike across Canada. I rode nearly 6300km in 3.5 months. It was a fantastic yet challenging way to truly see every part of the country. Some of my favourite memories from the trip was staying with locals, either from the couchsurfing community or simply staying with people I met along the way! In early 2018, I traveled a bit around South America. I spent a few weeks in Patagonia doing some pretty epic hikes.

To meet locals and make friends around the world. Local knowledge is the greatest way to discover some hidden gems. I’m always in awe of the places locals have shown me.

Hiking, snowboarding, skating, and most recently I’ve started getting into rock climbing.

Music. Pretty much anything electronic. I also listen to jazz, indie, and hip hop.

Writing and photography. These are newer hobbies of mine. Admittedly not great at either but hopefully I’ll improve over time haha
