ABOUT ME

Outgoing, creative, silly, adventurous! After becoming fed up with my boring insurance job in the U.S., I moved to South Korea three years ago to teach English to children. I then began editing for a news agency in Seoul, and until recently had been doing that for the past year and a half. Now I'm traveling and volunteer working in Italy and France for a few months :)

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life so that I will look back in 20 years and feel satisfied with the choices I have made, the relationships I have shared with others, and of course the places I have seen :)

Interests

I love being outside either picnicking with friends, hiking, or relaxing in the sun. I love meeting new people, seeing new places and trying new types of food. Nothing beats sharing laughs with friends!

One of my favorite foreign films is Cinema Paradiso. I enjoy classic literature!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking Waipio and Waimanu Valley on the Big Island in Hawaii with my older sister and almost getting washed away in a freak storm was pretty amazing! It was terrifying, but one of the most gorgeous places I've ever visited!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an experienced writer and editor. I also happen to know quite a bit about South Korean politics, if anyone is interested haha. I'm always interested in the local history and culture of wherever I'm staying.
