My toolbox includes a positive outlook on life, a happy go lucky attitude and a tendency to laugh. I am a traveller at heart and am looking for a different experience from the "where have you been, where are you going?" questions that tend to creep into conversation. Living and loving in the present is the name of the game.
Curiosity doesn't always kill the cat. Although I realize, you don't always land on your feet. By nature I have a deep love for learning. I am most comfortable being uncomfortable and live for new adventures everyday.

I have crashed on many a couches -- I prefer for it to be an organic meeting but I like the idea of this site. I have stayed with friends, friends of friends, and of course when I am in New Orleans love to host and show people around the city I love.

I would love to take a walk around my favorite author, Tom Robbins, mind and come out exhausted.
My favourite director, bar-none is Jean-Pierre Jeunet. I find french film to be fantastic. It's not always about the happy ending, it's how you view it.
As for music, I could go on for days but just for a taste: Broken Social Scene, Paul Simon, Arcade fire, Four Tet, Gorillaz, Cat Power, Chad VanGaalen, The Sea and Cake, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Sigur Ros, Bon Iver, St Vincent, Tallest Man on Earth, Talking heads, PHOX, Foxygen, Tune Yards, Grizzly Bear… LIVE please.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have fortunately experienced a lot of really amazing things in my life and hope to keep the good times rolling! Some of them include diving in the Sipadan Islands, hitch-hiking through France, being a cave dweller in Spain, Sailing through the San Blas islands in Panama, motorcycle trip through India and Nepal.
I have had just as much fun getting busy in the kitchen, with a glass of wine and great company.
