Eternal optimist, daydreamer, dog lover (well all animals but dogs are just pretty special aren't they?). I listen more than I talk but if you ask me I'll tell you anything - I'm an open book and never lie (I'd go bright red!) I giggle when I'm nervous but actually laugh all the time. Never get angry (what's the point?).
Life motto: always be kind. And always assume other people are kind too. It's not naive - being open opens up so many possibilities.

Im a really lucky person - the sun always shines when I go to a festival, my train arrives as I walk into the station, chance meetings lead to adventures I never imagined...

Don't own anything that doesn't fit in my backpack and don't need to. I value friends and memories - not stuff.
I'm vegetarian but don't preach about it. Smoker but never drop butts on the ground. Love a drink, rarely get drunk. Cant see any good reason to grow up and have no plans to. Love being outside, singing and dancing (badly but enthusiastically), long conversations about nothing and everything, midnight swims, chocolate, coffee, impulsive decisions, anything new or unusual. Generally love life.

I'm travelling at the moment for as long as I can last without a proper job so can't host for now but I love my little island so love to give tips about things to see and do if anyone's visiting Guernsey.

I've learned almost everything I know that's worth knowing from people I've met and experiences I've had. (Except German - I'm trying to learn German using duolingo on bus journeys and rainy days - it is really hard!!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favourite travel story at the moment is renting a tuk tuk with a couple guys I met in a hostel and driving it around Sri lanka together. Its a great conversation starter when people see me pull up driving the tuk tuk.
