About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience as much of this beautiful world that I can

ABOUT ME

I LOVE to travel, definitely like staying with locals versus staying at fancy hotels. I'm pretty laid back, I don't need alot to make me happy! I'm graduating from UNH with my master's degree in occupational therapy in December and I can't wait to get started working!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to be anything but true to yourself. Live it up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm travelling, but I would love to offer my home in the future, so I plan on giving back more than I receive through this awesome network.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

BRAND NEW! Can't wait. Would love to offer my home up in the future- moving to San Antonio, TX in January!

Interests

I love to learn about different cultures- I speak Swahili, I've been to Kenya a few times, I have a passion for taking care of people, especially those with disabilities. I really enjoy doing outdoorsy things like hiking, but love fine dining when I can afford it. Total dork, love anything history related, huge family girl.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jonathan Safaer Foyer is the man. I love alot of music!! Sublime, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles, Kansas- all classics. Also a huge fan of rap, believe it or not- I can get down to some DMX and Dre. Dre, Lauren Hill is the best female rapper ever, Missy Elliot is my girl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working at an orphanage for 3 months outside of Nairobi, Kenya, changed my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Occupational Therapy student, speak some Swahili, travelled to Kenya multiple times, older sister of 2 special needs children that I LOVE, vegetarian, love nature, LOVE history.
