ABOUT ME

I'm a professional photographer, DIY curator, and traveler. I organize and host monthly art & sound events called NIGHT KITCHEN in unexpected places, and collaborate with artists, musicians, and makers of all sorts.

As a photographer, I like to discover the personality of a place and the people in it. I think and read a lot about vision and perception -- it's always been a big interest -- and I love to have conversations about the visual world, the brain, and the expansiveness of the mind :)

I'm relaxed and curious, and I love new experiences, especially ones that include:

a) delicious food (homemade or at someone's favorite spot)

b) exploring nature -- by foot, by bike, by sea. I love to hike, climb, and balance on the top of my head

c) exploring cities -- finding art in unexpected places, meeting new people, dancing, getting blissfully lost

I'll be photographing the people I meet along my way. I hope to meet you !

I'd be happy to host once I get resettled in Philly in the fall. I'd love to extend the invitation to NIGHT KITCHEN within this community -- it can be an incredible way to meet people and get a glimpse into the crazy art we make in my hometown

I've couchsurfed in Amsterdam, Bergen, Provence, and Edinburgh. I've loved connecting with people from this community.

Interests

I love to discover the best-kept secrets of a place. My favorite things to find are cozy house shows, local artists and performers, urban folklore, shared art spaces, and someone's personal favorite lunch spot.

I enjoy walking and cycling. I like to visit galleries and museums, as well as food markets, community gardens, and other *free* places where I can make opportunities for photographs.
