HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS and have a pseudo-mattress to offer before I travel for a few months.

Interests

Roadtrips, alienation, the desert, fish tacos, irreverence, New York Times crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, Nick Cave, sarcasm, cats, grammar, reading, and writing.

Movies: Joe Wright, Quentin Tarantino, Giuseppe Tornatore, Pedro Almodovar, Werner Herzog, Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock.

Music: I mostly listen to miscellaneous subgenres of rock (desert rock, classic rock, indie rock, folk rock, etc.) but I also love blues, classical, and Townes van Zandt. My favourites are Queens of the Stone Age and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

Books: Joan Didion, Philip Roth, Cormac McCarthy, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Nabokov, Oscar Wilde, Patti Smith, Ian McEwan, Jeffrey Eugenides, John Fowles, Proust, Emma Donoghue, David Sedaris, and the list goes on...
