ABOUT ME

When I was 17 I spent a year abroad in the United States and I realized how much someone can learn during an experience like that. Not only about the world and the different culture, but also about oneself. After that I started travelling and spending as much time as I could in different countries and everytime I met so many amazing and interesting people. During my travels I always felt that there are certein people similar to me even though they come from a totally different culture.They where tolerent open minded and easy going, nice, interesting and lovely people. I feel like on CS all these people get connected with each other. Only travellers understand how much it means to a person to be welcomed in a home and not only sleep in a hotel.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be as tolerent as possible and not to judge anyone because of their outer appearance. I try to see the beauty in small things and I try to be a good friend, a good listener and I try to help people whenever I can. Even if it is just helping someone carry a heavy bag up the stairs at the station.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host people whenever I can. Unfortunately (for them, not for me ;-)) I was travelling myself most of the time this year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only joined CS recently and have only stayed with two different hosts, both in Brazil. It was a whole new experience and I def. want to be more active in this community.

Interests

I am interested in culture and how it develops and why it changes. Especially in different countrys. I am interested in getting to know as many interesting people as possible and there is nothing better than a good conversation while drinking a beer or a glass of wine. I am interested in Poetry, Literature and Musik and I admire people who play instruments.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a movie person so much, but I did enjoy Wes Anderson movies and I like German independent movies.
Music.. I like melody.. and good lyrics and instruments.
Literature is hard to say.. I have my phases.. :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have done was the travel through Brazil this year. It was my first Backpacking experience and I have met so many nice people and I got a whole new look on the world. And I spent my time with one of the most amazing people I know.
