About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life, love life, embrace challenge and adventure and be.

ABOUT ME

The first thing I am likely to do at a party where I don't know people well is vibe it out, grab a beer/food, start a conversation about the beer/food with someone I see close by and then gradually learn about their passions and share my deep existential questions. Then I'll likely dance.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing is either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

Being our favorite selves is a gift to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couch surfing soon after graduating college and moving out of my folks' house, so I haven't had much of a hosting opportunity. Since then, I've been traveling from coast to almost coast and staying with really awesome people, hoping to get more involved with events along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books- The Heart Breaking Work of a Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers, Nickel and Dimed by Barbara E, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Movies- Into the Wild, American Hustle, 500 days of Summer, Breakfast Club, The Wave

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Created "The Findhorn Monologues," where I asked one question to fifty people in the community about their stories and wrote an anonymous play and then gave other community members the lines to memorize and embody each other's stories on stage.

I feel amazed almost everyday- witnessing a hummingbird, hearing a friend's story of overcoming an alcohol addiction, hearing a poem that took a lot of courage to read aloud, a smile at just the right time, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone.
