I was born in Germany and grew up all over the USA, from coast-to-coast. We spent the year 2011 volunteering in Africa in The Democratic Republic of Congo, where my husband was a bush pilot in remote villages and my two teenage kids and I volunteered in an orphanage.
We are passionate about world travel and meeting new people and learning about new cultures. We have traveled every continent save Antarctica. We plan to adventure there before long.
Our kids are grown and our daughter is in college in NC and our son works for us in the family business, aviation.
I hang out and help my husband some with the business, but spend most of my time researching and planning our next adventure.
