ABOUT ME

I am a quiet, respectful and curious artist who enjoys traveling and meeting creative, compassionate people from all walks of life.
I believe that “art is love,” and am fully committed to training artists and arts educators to engage in creating a collaborative language for the arts of social change. When I'm not working in community, I spend my time in my studio attempting to make visual marks that adequately describe “re-remembering,” and the transience and non-sequential qualities of memory. When that becomes too weighty of task, I play tug with my dog, take hikes by myself or with my son and husband, run, read or sit quietly looking out at the ocean.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - jazz, classical, rock, blues, experimental and alternative

Books - so many - non-fiction, fiction, poetry etc.

Movies - also lots of favorites tend towards art house film of all years

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've completed 4 triathlons, and 2 marathons, as well as many 1/2 marathons and other races. I would like to run a 50 mile race this year somewhere beautiful There is something amazing in everything I see if I take the time to notice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and share "letting go" and embracing creativity. I also enjoy sharing mushroom foraging, and writing.

I would like to dance more, learn to play the bass, and learn more languages.
