About Me
Hola! I’m Jennifer, a passionate soul from Buenos Aires.
I’m all about good music, great food, and deep conversations. I love getting lost in the city’s vibrant streets, enjoying a warm cup of mate with friends, and dancing to tango whenever I can. Whether I’m exploring new places or curling up with a good book, I find beauty in the simple moments. I’m a huge foodie, so you can often find me experimenting with new recipes or indulging in my favorite Argentine dishes like empanadas and asado. When I’m not working or studying, I’m usually out enjoying life’s little adventures, dreaming of my next travel destination!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of connecting with people from all over the world. I love learning about different cultures, sharing stories, and making lifelong friendships. It’s not just about finding a place to stay, but about creating meaningful experiences and memories with locals and travelers alike. I enjoy the idea of traveling more authentically and exploring places through the eyes of the people who live there. Plus, I think there’s nothing better than a spontaneous adventure and the chance to share my culture, music, and food with others!
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a wide range of musical tastes, but I’m especially drawn to Argentine rock and tango, with artists like Soda Stereo, Charly García, and Carlos Gardel holding a special place in my heart. I also enjoy Latin pop, reggae, and anything that gets me moving. When it comes to movies, I love both classic and contemporary films, with favorites like El Secreto de Sus Ojos, The Motorcycle Diaries, and Amélie. As for books, I’m a big fan of Argentine authors like Borges and Cortázar, but I also enjoy international works, particularly those that are philosophical or surreal, such as Ficciones, One Hundred Years of Solitude, and The Alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done was hiking to the top of Mount Aconcagua. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience, and reaching the summit gave me a sense of accomplishment and inspired me to keep pushing my limits.
