I’m a Canadian from Vancouver, BC looking to possibly move to Europe, specifically Spain or Portugal so I’m exploring and hoping to get some insight from locals. I have a dual EU passport which will make it easier for me to move. My first passion is all things fashion and always has been. I presently work in a hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia. I love this work because it is social and I meet people from all over the world. I was a bartender for a very long time so this line of work is comfortable to me and I love to give great service! I have also had my own clothing boutique with my daughter and I loved being a fashion innovator in Vancouver. We were very involved in the fashion community here and I’ve met some fantastic people there. I would like to be involved with fashion again one day. I love to travel and meet new people from other places and learn about them.

Couchsurfing has been recommended to me by a few experienced “Couch Surfers”. They say it is a very positive experience! I realize that I am probably a bit or quite a bit older than most couch surfers but I look forward to the experience and I have friends and colleagues of all ages - personally I don’t look at age. You can learn from anyone. I look forward to meeting hosts and learning about the neighborhoods they live in. I want to gain new friends and experiences. I am new at this but I hope you will host me - I will be an excellent guest!

I love old classic movies of all types. I love the glamour. I also love any biography of the old classic movie stars as well and anything that pertains to old Hollywood. I love many kinds of music from jazz, blues, rap, classical. The only one I’m not crazy about is country (sorry country fans). Books - I like historical novels and biographies.
