*I haven't used couch surfing in a while and thing have changed in my life! I am 27 years old and a boat captain in Alaska. I still love to travel and have since added India, Nepal, Ecuador, New Zealand, and Australia, Vietnam, and Cambodia to my list! Otherwise alot of what is written below is still accurate to how I feel today, and upon discovering this old bio. I feel it is a time capsule of my younger self which I don't want to erase 🩵*

Hello all you beautiful people! My name is Jennifer and I am 20 years old and from California. I have lived here my whole life with my family! I have two sisters and we are all bitten by the travel bug. I love travelling with them, friends, and by myself!!

I currently am attending California State University Long Beach and studying Geography. I love the ocean as I have grown up with it my whole life, I love swimming, kayacking, paddle boarding... as well as most other outdoor activities! I feel the free-est when I am outside and so I love to hike, camp, etc. That being said I also love to walk around and explore new cities! I am not too into partying, but enjoy a good time every now and then!

As I am a full time student and work as well I do not have nearly enough time or money to travel as much as I like, but I always try to get out to explor and travel as much as possible!

I love this idea of helping your fellow travellers out by giving them a space to stay! I feel it is a wonderful opportunity to meet amazing people from all across the world, and through that widen perspectives and have great times! Also, as I am a full-time student and part-time worker (as much as I can) I do not have nearly enough time or money to travel as much as I like. Especially money. Couchsurfing is a way to break the idea of expensive travel, and give more opportunities to travel to those who otherwise might not have been able to. Such a wonderful idea, and I am so happy to be apart of Couchsurfing!

I am not sure what this means! I am open to learning about people, ideas, skills, cultures, and anything people can teach! I feel like we can always learn something from someone and so I hope to continuosly do so! As far as what I can teach, I am not sure. But I am completely open to helping people or teaching them anything that I can offer! I could help people with their English, etc. And I love to hear and tell stories from people experiences which I feel like can connect people, help guide them, or simply just be funny!
