I'm a fun person who loves to laugh and get to know new people and places. My job is serious so when I'm not working, I really like to relax and have fun. Also, I love to bake.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto other as they would have you do unto them. Basically, be nice! Also, take personal responsibility for your actions (I'm a doctor, so this one is huge for me).

Interests

My husband and I love watching movies together, cooking and just generally discussing the world around us. We love traveling and taking adventures into the city and beyond. I love to run, swim, bike, complete races doing all or just some of those. I love to read and I love meeting new people and learning their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Funny, romantic, dramatic, historical- really most any movie except horror.
I like almost all types of music in some form or fashion just not all musicians.
I love reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love running and have done several half marathons. My last one I ran with my cousin-in-law and at the end the hosts gave us tiaras, boas and even champagne (handed to us by shirtless well-built men). The half before that, I high-fived Minnie Mouse as I crossed the finish line. Awesome!
Holding my nieces or nephew and getting to watch them grow. (that's my niece in the picture)
Having my good friend's one year old recognize me and smile. I feel like I must be something if this little guy remembers me and not only that, remembers me fondly.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a doctor and am endlessly fascinated with the decisions people make about their health. One thing I'm always telling my patients- you only have two lungs and they don't grow back, so be nice to them. Another- have a living will or advanced directive- it doesn't mean you think you're going to die, it simply means you're letting your family know what you want if the unthinkable happens.
