Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been nomadic for the past 4 years, so unfortunately, I don't have an apartment let alone a couch to share. But I'm definitely willing to meet up with couchsurfers who are visiting San Francisco or South Lake Tahoe and who want advice and/or company during their visit.

Interests

Ethnic food, fusion cuisine, and red wine. I'm always traveling or thinking about traveling. Avid reader of books. Avid listener to podcasts like Radio Lab, This American Life, and Snap Judgment. Avid watcher of movies. Also love modern art, post-Picasso. I snowboard at least 40 days every winter, and dance (lindy, salsa, country) and hike the rest of the year. Other activities I find fun but don't get to do very often these days: shooting pool, rock climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Memoirs, anything related to Joss Whedon, sci-fi, zombies, period pieces. Last 5 movies seen and enjoyed: The World's End, Blackfish, Kolya, Cockneys vs. Zombies, Starbuck. In the middle of watching Glee, 30 Rock, and Breaking Bad. Just finished a memoir called "Wild", about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. In the middle of reading a food memoir called "Mastering the Art of Soviet Cooking".
