I'm a happily married gal for almost 30 years with 2 older children. I've been inspired by them to get my butt in gear and see the world. I love to travel. Love different types of architecture , history, the diversity of every type of landscape and different cultures. To be honest, I'm a little bit nervous about travelling alone but I figure, after the initial experience I'll come to love it...I hope LOL
I'm easy going, love life and all its gifts. I'm a registered nurse for over 30 years now ( holy crap ) so I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly and still get amazed at the tenacity and zest of the human spirit. This universe is just full of wonderful people and experiences and I feel we just too bogged down with all the negativity in the world we sometimes forget the beauty. I like to concentrate on that.
I believe life is what you put into it.
The universe is full of positivity and will send it back to you.
That beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.
and that laughter is by far the best medicine EVER!! LOL

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

My daughter who has travelled many countries has used couchsurfing and found it fantastic to meet new people. I'm hoping to connect with individuals in communities to get a deeper insight to the people in the area. I would like to submerse myself with the areas, absorbing as much as I can and I feel by sharing someones home I just might be able to do that. It's kind of nerve wracking for me, at such a " tender" age, but exciting all the same!!

She and I are venturing together for a mother daughter 3 week trek to Bali April 2019 so I'm excited to see...do...and experience all the vibrance and beauty that Bali has to offer.Just wish we had more time LOL

This summer I tried hiking and with 2 friends climbed Gros Morne Mountain in Newfoundland Canada. Was awesome and has got me hooked!
