Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet different people. Also, I think there is something to be said about 'living' in other locations. Sharing a home with someone would give that feel.

I have raised my older girls and now I am ready to see the world and meet people from many different countries!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Teach Children how to read and watch them be succesful in post secondary education and their career.
-Led our school/Community in participating and winning "Celebrate My Drive" , driving safety contest at a National Level.
-Was given the opportunity to raise 4 beautiful girls.
-Watched my high school friend and my photo launch into space to the International Space Station.
-Make my grandson smile :)
-Took my girlfriend diagnosed with ALS on her dream vacation to Kauai and pushed her around in a wheel chair, everyhwere, even to the top of viewing points she needed to see. (strong, burly men offered to take her down the steep inclines so she wouldn't drag me with her). She passed away in the fall of 2018.
-Frankie Avalon sang to me while in Reno. I had a crush on him when I was 8!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm looking forward to meeting new people and share life experiences. I come from a very small town in Minnesota . I'd like to host couchsurfers, but the location I live in does not lend itself as a traveling destination, eventhough I'm surrounded with beauty and many thousands of lakes.
