Overview
About Me
Second generation native San Franciscan, living in sunny San Diego California.
I start my next big adventure on October 7th 2015, starting in Costa Rica, wanting to see Nicaragua, Panama and more! This will be my second time in Costa Rica.
I have many friends, and am very adaptable to any environment or culture, and I think this is one of the reasons I love travel so much. To me there is nothing more exciting then a trip to a new far a way place. I love being around others, but also enjoy my alone time, and excited to be taking my first big travel by myself.
For the past year after I graduated college I have been working for someone else, in a cubicle. I would find myself on travel blogs and looking at flights constantly and wondering what the hell I was doing sitting in a box staring at a computer! Time to get it together and live my dream. After all, I am a web designer, I can work from anywhere in the world wide web! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have many friends who couchsurf and I always hear wonderful things about it while traveling. I want to make connections with like-minded people.
We have hosted at my house and I have enjoyed all of the experiences, even the occasional weirdo makes me smile now, haha :)
I am embarking on a long term/ low budget travel adventure through Central America. I am very excited to meet new friends and learn about the real culture in each new place I visit. I feel the best way to get to know a place is to really get to know the people that live there day in and day out!
PHILOSOPHY
We are all 1. There is no such thing as race. We are very deeply connected on a spiritual sacred level. I also believe everything is energy, timing is everything and life is our own perception.
I believe in the power of positivity and manifestation! I also believe that we are the creators of our own story!
Interests
Anything to do with food really! Cooking it, eating it and talking about it! I love anything that has to do with the beach, sun and water.
I have been to Burning Man three times and I love the principles of gifting, radical self reliance and inclusion.
Travel and new cultures (of course), music, music, dancing, music (all types), Art (all types), Camping, the Ocean, Beach Activities, Hiking, Socializing and Entertaining... Concerts and Music Festivals, Tropical Weather... :)
My main bucket list for this trip is to become a diver! I want to swim with the Ocean! :)
Second bucket list for this travel is to become a "good" surfer. 8 years in San Diego and this girl still can't surf!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am most proud of the fundraiser I did this year for my birthday. We created 40 care packages for the homeless and handed them out. Each package was a new backpack filled with toiletries and other items (us backpackers know what you need!!!) I can't see myself having another birthday now with out giving to others! :)
