ABOUT

I am from Florida but I have been living a bit of a nomadic life since I quite my job in July of 2015. I first visited Aruba and Venzuala then spent some time working and traveling in the Western United States during the fall of 2015. For the last year I worked and lived in an off the grid reserve on the coast of Ecuador. I am now going to spend the next 6-9 months working with the National Park Service in Maui, HI.

I am a plant ecologist and conservation and travel area my passions. I love to visit new places and meet new people. I have mostly traveled in Latin America. I have visited nine countries in South and Central America over the pasy 12 years. I have also been to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Europe and I hope to visit New Zealand, Australia and South Africa in the coming years.

I love couchsurfing because it allows me to get a locals perspective on a place that I am visiting. I get to be a part of someone else's world for a short while and meet new people.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I recently visited the Gran Sabana in Venezuela. It hosts the tallest waterfalls in the world (Angel Falls, it's where they went in the Disney movie "Up"). It was my number one place that I wanted to travel for years. The plant diversity is spectacular..... and since I am a plant nerd it was incredible.

Recientemente yo fui a la gran sabana de Venezuela. Este lugar tienes el salto más alto del mundo, Salto del Ángel. Fue un sueño realizó para mi. La diversidad de plantas fue espectacular en este lugar.
