Hi everyone, my name is Jennifer! A California native that grew up camping and backpacking. My family didn't grow up with much money so I never had the opportunity to travel out of the United States, not even to the east coast! Upon graduating Chico State i'm planning to travel the world as long as I possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm using Couchsurfing in order to expand my resources as long as possible during my travels and to meet new people, specifically those with knowledge of the areas I'm traveling to help with language barriers and directions.

Upon graduation and beginning my travels I am moving out & getting rid of my things so I won't have a place to share, but once I return home I will be accepting other couchsurfing guests!

Skinny dipped in a freezing cold lake while backpacking. My toes were blue for quite some time.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a psychology major I am interested in alternative medicine. I've never agreed much with our western practices and the drugs we prescribe for mental health patients in America. I believe in the strength of diet exercise and meditation/yoga. I would love to widen my horizons in this area and learn more about eastern practices. Possibly learning or practicing under an expert if possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hosts outside of the united states I could help teach english. I also love to cook & wouldn't mind cooking for my host. I'm also interested in photography and blogging. If any hosts need pictures taken of them I would love to do it! Basically anything social media or marketing related I can help with.
