Overview
About Me
I'm an 21 year old girl from Sweden (Stockholm) living in the US for a year, working as an au pair. With that means I'm working and living with an American family and taking care of the kids, but I would basically call it being an extra big sister but from another country. Before I came here I was a manager at McDonald's in Sweden which actually was so much fun. I ended up working there for 3 years since I started to work extra already in high school. I came to America in late February 2019 and lived my first three months in New York (Long Island), and then moved to Danville, California where I am staying now, which I also like within an hour from San Fransisco.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm an open minded person who always look for ways to get out of my comfort zone in some way. Right now I'm living and working here in the US as an Au Pair, and I try to explore the country as much as possible while I'm here. With that means that I will not always be able to go with other people and wanna travel solo sometimes. I think Couchsurfing would be a great thing since I actually always tend to end up hanging with locals anyway, and that is according to me the best possible way to see a place. You can get great tips on what to see/do that doesn't have to be that "touristy". And of course to meet some new people that I wouldn't really meet otherwise, so later on I will have friends spread out in many different places of the world which is amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to music everyday and it's 95% of the time always The Weekend, I'm obsessed haha. I also like listening to Ozuna, Chris Brown, Drake, Swae Lee, xxxtentacion and some Indian music or Swedish music on occasion. To be honest I don't watch a lot of movies or series but I love the Harry Potter movies and books. Other than that I basically just use to watch Swedish youtubers or something random on Netflix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking through south east Asia. It's one of the best things I've ever done and I cannot wait to go back to my favorite places some day.
