I live in a small town. I don't know how many people live here, but I do know what's here: a cemetery, maybe an apartment complex, a grocery store, and maybe a gas station. I'm really not sure about the gas station. No restaurants, lots of trains, and we live 15 miles from the nearest city worth going to (but that city doesn't even have a Chick-Fil-A!). Fun fact: My internet goes out every time a train goes by. I will never be able to play MMO's or have work-related Skype calls while I live here. I'm just dying to take a break from it all and do some exploring in this vast world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore the places that I travel to thoroughly, especially if that means getting to know some people.

In London, I want to:
Go to a supermarket and buy some bagged milk/water, or at least look at it.
Try fish & chips, marmite, and tea.
Travel in a Subway, but not go out of my way to do so.
Ponder the differences between tarmac and asphalt.
Look at wild hedgehogs. Take photos. Maybe feed them if possible.
Possibly hang out in a park.
Become familiar with the fauna compared to that of Texas.
Maybe stay in a hostel.
Purchase the first book of Harry Potter. The one that says "Philosopher" on it, because it sounds way better. Then I want to mail it to myself in America.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the Harry Potter series, both the books and the movies.
I love Disney and generally most animated films. My favorites are Anastasia (not made by Disney, I know), Tangled, and Beauty & the Beast. I can't wait until the live-action Beauty & the Beast comes out and I definitely can't wait until Moana or Fantastic Beasts comes out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once tricked my family into believing that I was eating ghost pepper hot sauce by the spoonful along with my chips. It was just ketchup.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have two hedgehogs (named Apple and Android. Their mother's name was Bell, like the guy who invented phones), three ornate box turtles (different sizes--one is a little baby), a blind toad, an adorable dog named Grace, and two cats (named Oatmeal and Luna). I'll miss them when I'm travelling.
