I'm a low-key Midwesterner who enjoys quiet, peaceful activities like reading, painting, hiking, and cooking. Although, if the mood strikes me right, I can be outgoing and witty. I like connecting with people and finding out what makes them tick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went on a trip to the Northern Mariana Islands and couchsurfed with a few friends. They were able to show me parts of the island that I would have never experienced had I not stayed with them. They shared the amazing history and culture of the island with me, which made the trip that much more rich and wonderful.

I plan on quitting my job and starting my adventure soon. I'm not sure if I'll need couchsurfing during that time, but it seems like it would make a great insurance policy for those lean times.
