Hello! My name is Jennifer. I am now studying in Beijing Normal University, and my major is resource and environment science. My school is near the city center, and not far from the subway station Jishuitan. So it’s convenient for me to meet new friends anywhere in Beijing.

Before I come to university, I often go travel follow the travel agency with my parents to some beautiful places in China, such as Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanjing, Shanghai, Guilin and so on. Those experience are kind of boring, but I gradually find myself enjoy the feeling when seeing different people or culture. Now I’m trying to persuade my mom and dad, convincing them I can take care of myself and get on well with other people. And then I plan to take more solo travel in the future, because I really want to see the outside world by myself. I also keep reading books, watching movies and documentaries to enrich my knowledge.

As I am a student living in school dormitory, I’m afraid I cannot manage to offer you a place to live. But if you like, I can be your tour guide and show you around Beijing this charming and historical city. I really love to explore new things, so since I came to Beijing, I never stop finding new places.

I am looking forward to meet interesting people, show you around in Beijing and share whatever I know about chineses culture with you. Maybe I can also learn from your experiences, preparing for my travel plan some day.

兴趣

Watching movies and reading books has been my hobby since I was very young and I prefer works about history, travlling, philosophy, psychology, photogragy and music.

As for music, I have learned guitar and chiness traditional instrument GUZHENG, and I also like listening to piano and cello music.

Sports must be my best way to release pressure, table tennis is my favorate and I am also good at swiming. I am recently learning tennis.

I try to learn something about computer. Java and python is the computer language that I want to master.

Studying new language also makes me happy, I am good at English and I am learning Spanish and Italian by myself.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was 14 years old, during the trip to a dessert (at the North West of China) with my mom and her colleagues. All adults chose to ride camels to cross the dessert, while I insisted in walking to the destination and at last only my mom walked with me. It was so hard to climb and walk in the sand but we finally finished. The feeling and experience was fantastic !!!
