I'm a 26 year old woman currently living in Melbourne with my husband Charles. I am studying classical singing at the Conservatorium of Music and working part time in Human Resources. I used to travel a lot more than I do now and can't wait to travel again!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

In 2009 and 2010 I met some wonderful people through Couch Surfing while I was living in France and travelling around Europe. I haven't used the Couchsurfing website in a long time but I would like to use it to meet travellers passing through Melbourne.

Went to Tokyo shortly after the Fukushima earthquake in 2011. There was a "do not travel" warning on my government's foreign affairs department website but I didn't care, I wanted to see my brother. It was amazing to see Tokyo so dark because they were saving power and using few lights at night.

I'm not currently travelling so I probably won't meet many hosts, but for guests in Melbourne, I can help with English conversation. I used to be an English Language Assistant in Rennes, France, so I'm comfortable with this.
