ABOUT ME

I'm young and bursting with anticipation to see the world. I am currently working towards my BA degree. School takes up all my time and I love it. I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing than studying English Literature and Philosophy. I have a soft spot for the written classics and graphic novels. Intellectual pursuits are my favorite and I love having long, meaningful (and meaningless for that matter) conversations.

I love reading. It's a passion of mine. I enjoy playing video games. I don't want to toot my own horn but I play a mean guitar on guitar hero. YES I CONSIDER IT A TALENT. I love doing outdoorsy things: hiking, biking, swimming, or simply just playing. I also just began playing the piano again after an eleven year break. Oh yeah, and I enjoy drinking rum.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE MOVIES, MUSIC, AND BOOKS. I love Chuck Palahniuk, Jack London, George Orwell, Edith Wharton, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Wendelin Van Draanen, etc. etc. etc. As for music, I listen to a myriad of artists. Andre Nickatina, Atmosphere, The Offspring, Tegan and Sara, Childish Gambino, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkle, The Beatles, ACDC, etc. etc. etc. MOVIES? I like The Fall, The Happening, Battle Royale (as well as the book!), The Langoliers, Brothers Bloom, etc. etc. etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This might not be the most amazing thing, but a few weeks ago I cut off all my hair (measured at about 13 inches) and donated it all to Locks of Love. Very exciting for me.
