About Me

To figure out what my current mission is. It's ever-changing really.

Hi, how are you? You'd think in this day and age, I'd know how to sum myself up on the internet. It's never really been my strong point. I prefer meeting people and letting the conversation naturally take it's course. But I shall attempt to offer some details. I'm vegan. I absolutely love to hear interesting stories, I like to share some as well. I very much enjoy reading and writing, though the time I've devoted to either is a bit limited. As much as I dislike driving, hopping in my car with an unknown destination is something I often do. I was born in a car. I'm self-aware enough to tell you my faults, ideas, and opinions, though not enough to tell you simple facts that you'd think I know. I'm that girl at a party chain-smoking outside with a bottle of wine, in search of someone to humor me while I talk about some silly observation I had that day. Cheers.

Ah, personal philosophy. Well, it's hard to articulate it, such a complex question!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have mostly hosted surfers, and have surfed a couple of times with some great folks. I truly love CS and I would like to host much more this summer. And hopefully I will be able to travel some more soon!

Things that really grab my attention: The complex beauty of people and nature, unity among a community, supreme acts of kindness, self-empowerment. I'm interested in many, many things. I've also recently concluded that my most spoken adjective is "interesting". A few interests I can think of: languages, travel, walking, reading, engaging conversation, architecture, beauty, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've seen and was a part of would have to be May 1st in New York City. To be united with over 100,000 people marching through the streets of Manhattan was something that had a many feelings and thoughts attached to it, a few would be; unbelievable, beautiful, overwhelming, inspiring.
