Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
California was a great place to start off the couch surfing scene! Great surfers out there who all wanted to help me out! A few really stood out... Very good vibes ;) I just love the concept of surfing; it's great karma :) Such a beautiful option for sharing in the generosity and company of strangers.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Love the movie The Matrix mainly for its dystopian concept, like The Giver (Lowry's book is better though). I also thoroughly enjoy I Heart Huckabees, Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and a few more...However I don't typically follow much mainstream media.
I like alternative music, especially Modest Mouse, Broken Social Scene, Pinback and others... I do have a soft spot for DMB as well, but understand not everyone is a fan. I almost always enjoy a live set with a preference for acoustic.
My favorite book is Charlotte's Web (I am an elementary teacher!), but have many other top choices. John Irving and Chuck Pahlianuk are a few favorite authors. I also just finished Amanda Ripley's The Smartest Kids in the World and ate up every word!
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I know it says just one, but I couldn't pick! I really don't mean to sound 'braggy'! Here it goes... Skydiving in Hawaii, white water rafting in the Smokey Mountains, canyon dive in Switzerland!! Fun stuff! I also worked as a volunteer coordinator at my favorite rescue organization- Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary which was one of the best jobs I have ever had. I got to meet so many amazing people and we achieved a lot together.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Every person and experience can teach me something! I believe that life is a little Iike a classroom. I like asking myself what I learned today and what I would be able to teach to someone else based on what I learned ... I spend a lot of time reflecting and establishing my beliefs about the world around me, while keeping mindfulness and positivity as my foundation. I consider myself a life-long learner and so I enjoy pursuing those innate curiosities Albert Einstein spoke of. As a teacher, I equally love to teach!! It is a bit of a cycle...
I also try not to take myself or life too seriously but realize that I can make a difference for others so I try to do that.
