ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Jennifer Marie Norton, and I am one month into my year long travels here in New Zealand. I come from a loving, conservative, hispanic home and have spent most of my life living according to a very structured idea of success...but last month I decided to step outside of what has been created for me to explore my passions and live my life without boundaries! Its been quite an adventure so far. This first month I spent camping with my rainbow family at the 2009-2010 World Rainbow Gathering which has been a life changing experience and am now traveling the rest of this beautiful country. My purpose in life is to be as connected as I can to the positive energies around me that create the beauty of the natural world (my home) and radiate in every living thing; human, animal and plant alike. I have a passion for music, I play anything with black and white keys: Piano, accordion, melodica, and have started learning to play the drums as well. I believe music is a Creator and that melodies exist before they find a way to manifest themselves. I am a spiritual person and have respect for honest belief in all religions, although I do not claim one for myself. My goals for this year are to free mind of the limitations and boundaries that it has created as a result of living a socially institutionalized lifestyle so that I can be free to change the world in my dreams and waking life. It is happening every day!

I have never couch surfed before and am looking forward to begining my experience as soon as I can.

Intereses

Although I no longer claim the religion I was raised in, I carry a deep sense of spirituality and have been very interested in learning as much as I can about religions and beliefs around the world. This last year I have also become very interested in the world of physics and quantum mechanics, as a nursing student, I am naturally drawn to biology and physiology, I'm interested in learning more about organic farming, gardening, philosophy, astrology, our expanding universe and the list goes on and on.

Rode a speed boat under Iguazu Falls in Brazil, helped deliver and baby and saved the life of a cute little abandoned puppy:)
