Hi! My name is Jen and I am a psychology graduate student at Stony Brook University. I live on Long Island (NY) and will for the duration of my 5 year PhD program, but I am from Boston. I study the ways that our behavior impacts our physical health. I love to travel and have been traveling solo since I was 18. I have done a 6-country backpacking trip in Europe, I've visited Costa Rica, and my most recent trip was a train trek up to the arctic circle in Canada, where I saw wild Polar Bears and the Northern Lights.

I love the idea of couchsurfing because meeting people when I travel is one of my favorite things. Plus, I don't have a lot of money because I'm still in school.
