I'm Jen and live in Lincoln, Nebraska. I'm a computer science major at University of Nebraska-Lincoln and also work part-time as a web application engineer. When I'm not working or studying, I like to spend time with my friends, family, and dog, or read a good book. I'm literally 6'5 but don't play basketball (sorry).

I've watched several meteor showers in the middle of Kansas with no light pollution. I've met a few Holocaust survivors and heard their stories. I've seen/helped several animal births/hatches while growing up on a farm, which is both awesome and gross. I won the highest photography award at the Kansas State Fair during my first year in photography when I was 15, and my picture of my rooster Fred hung in senator Jerry Moran's office for a year. I woke up at 6 am during my summer vacation to see the sun rise over the ocean in South Padre, which was amazing.

I'm pretty much an expert with anything about chickens since I grew up on a farm and raised them as 4-H projects for several years. I also had show pigeons, peacocks, geese, ducks, a pheasant, and an African Goose at different times. I've taken 14 years of dance lessons. I can knit, sew, computer program, and 说中文一点！
