I recently finished my master's degree in regional planning and currently work as a planner in Massachusetts. I'm married and live in a small house across the street from a salt water cove in Warwick, RI. I see the water every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to participate to meet people from various cultures and places to make friends. I would love to meet people who I could go and visit in other parts of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done anything through CouchSurfing website, but back in 1993, I visited Madison, WI and sleep in various couches at different cooperatives in the city. I had a great time and amazing experience. I ended up living in Madison for 2 years. This experience inspired my master's thesis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most memorable travel experience was going to China in 2004 when I adopted my little sister. The culture was so rich and different than what I’m used to that my wanderlust actually subsided for six months afterwards, but it is in high gear now.
