About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make the most of my youth, travel the world and meet people

ABOUT ME

In my teenage years I was old before my time, spending most of my time at work. I believed my life would take the expected path and in a few years I would be married with a mortgage, career and children. This didn't happen. How glad I now am!! Instead I was given the opportunity to live and work in Malta when I was 22 a decision I made instantly and never regretted. It gave me so much strength and independence. After a time I decided to move on rather than fall into a rut and opted for Australia, choosing to travel through Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia on my way. Again a decision I made in an instant which I will never regret. So now I find myself in Australia at the age of 25 with only me to think about and with only whats in my backpack.

This travel has given me a desire to meet other people and learn about other cultures. I feel my travels have given me more insight into life and myself than anything else. I have so much desire now to travel and experience more.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to its fullest.
Act now.
Regret what you've done not what you never did.
Love and care for people the way you wish to be loved and cared for.
Live for yourself it's ok to be selfish sometimes so long as you make time for others as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No 1 so far:

Climbing Mount Bromo, Java, Indonesia at dusk with fellow travellers.

After briskly walking accross a flat cold barren expanse which could only be likened to Mordor, we scaled the 500 strong staircase which brought us to the summit of the level 2 volcano we had been advised not to climb. Our weariness instantly forgotten as we peered over the edge to witness an incredible sight. Our eyes widened and we cursed in amazement to see only a few meters away the Magma bubbling in all its glory. Overcome, we were lost for words never expecting for a moment this is what we would witness after spending hours on a bus driving through torrential rain. Stareing in awe not being able to believe what we were witnessing until the sun retired for the night and we fled in fear of the scariest experience of Mother Nature any of us had encountered.
