CURRENT MISSION

To fill up my passport, which is harder than previously thought since the EU exists, darn the lifting of the boarders, good for EU but not for my passport!

ABOUT ME

I am fun and get along with any one. I always am happy, there is not anytime that I'm upset about anything before I forget about it 5 minutes later. I sometimes say what seems like completely random things to other pople, but believe it or not there is a string to the last thing that came up in conversation. I love taking photographs. I really enjoy old time photography where you have film and developing and creating prints, but with traveling I can't really spend all my time in a darkroom.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to look forward to my job when I get one after college. I am outgoing and very friendly. I don't understand why people have to make life miserable for others. A simple smile to other people is enough to brighten someone's day if they are down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm stayed with a family in Paris that I met on a plane from Los Angelos, USA. They were very kind to me. I also have stayed several times with a family in Clermond-Ferrand who I met 10 years ago in another airport in the US. I'm still in contact with them and tomorrow I'm planning on meeting the mother in Paris and I will be spending Christmas with them this year. And I stayed with two people in Brussels for a few nights had fun. I really liked the Brussels guys. They were really kind to me and helped me figure out exactly where I wanted to go on a seemingly vast map. During the weekdays I was by myself but whenever they had free time or the weekend they showed me things that I missed and were must sees in Brussels. With the first guy we stayed up very late talking like we were old friends!

Interessen

Photography and any thing European. I love traveling and meeting new people. The one thing that Europe has that the US doesn't is age. There are a lot of marvelous monuments and amazing stories that are all over Europe, I'm always seeing a piece of history, which I love. I love learning the history of places that I visit. In the US that doesn't exist. I would love to work for a company that worked on space vechicles. I just got done with an internship with American Airlines, working as an engineer for them, right before I arrived here in France.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love contemporary music and mostly anything that's new. Since I've gotten to France, I now have MIKA's song "Love Me" constantly stuck in my head. I think I'm going to have to buy it soon before I go crazy! I love reading, but with traveling I didn't want to have to much weight in books, since I was packing for 6 months I had to get down to the essentials! I could always be content with a good movie. Even French news is interesting since sometimes it sounds like garble, but I'm getting better and better at not having a twisted confused face when I'm watching it since I'm starting to understand a lot more of what they are saying!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I got to drive a A300 across the tarmac. Feeling the thrust behind the engines is pretty fun.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

English and anything American. I'm willing to travel with people too. I don't necessarly like traveling by myself since you don't get to share an experience with another person.
