About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to see the world as much as I can, as soon as I can and as long as I'm still young.

ABOUT ME

A traveler soul who got bit by a travel bug years ago and it doesn't seem to get better. I need more hours for days to explore, dream & discover.

PHILOSOPHY

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
-Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was a couchsurfing guest in Wien, Austria in 2014 during my Interrail. That was a great experience. My friend found in Couchsurfing a nice couple who hosted us couple of nights. (That's why I don't have any reference from them, cause my friend was in contact with them.)
After our trip I haven't used Couchsurfing, but now I am back on track to search for hosts for our holidaytrip in Italy, France and Spain.

Interests

Travelling, exploring, meeting new people & sleeping when ever possible to get more energy to do all the other things mentioned first.

  • italian food
  • mexican food
  • flying
  • traveling
  • languages
  • study abroad
  • language exchange

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to read more when I was younger, nowadays I don't unfortunately have time to read.
I like all kinds of music (but not classic or heavymetal), the last concert I visited was Aviciis in Stockholm 2014.
I like good comedy and romantic movies but sometimes also a bit of action is okay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've experienced was definitely the semester I spent abroad. Once Erasmus, always Erasmus. No further words needed.
International experiences - highly valued.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn new languages and also like to teach mine. I can cook Finnish dishes and talk about German beer (with the help of my boyfriend).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Languages, cooking, sharing experiences. I like to talk a lot about my trips and I love to hear fascinating stories from other travellers. It is just really interesting to hear stories from all over the world. I love to get bonded with people from other nationalities and countries.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Finland, Germany, Sweden, United Arab Emirates
