I grew up in a very small little community in Newfoundland (Upper Amherst Cove), next to the ocean and away from everything else. I absolutely love it there, and am very close to my family. I graduated with a BFA in Theatre (Acting), and work with in film and theatre- currently with a really fantastic International Women's Film Festival! I am excited by new places, people, and stories, and am equally thrilled by and cherish those in my life now. I'm very close to my family and friends, and can't be away from the ocean for too long.
Things happen for a reason, treat others how you want to be treated, dance and sing and share (often!), work hard for what you want, learn and grow rather than regret, be pro-active and enjoy it all!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By welcoming people into my life here in Newfoundland, and hoping they will share with me just as much as I share with them! By being a host to wonderful, new folks, and thanking others for hosting me so that I can experience the true life and culture of an area.
I was a Couchsurfing Ambassador (Corner Brook, NL where I lived for 5 years), until I moved when I graduated university and really adore this site. I have hosted a lot of people, mainly from Europe and Canada, and a lot of musicians or bands, and have surfed a bit too. I really love being able to help folks out, share stories, show them my town and how I live, talk, have fun and learn from their experiences (and add to their travel experiences too!). While surfing I have met and been welcomed into the lives of many incredible, diverse, beautiful people who have challenged, helped, and encouraged me to learn and experience so many great new things in new places of the world for me. To experience the lives of others, and realize just how good all people are, how we are all the same, is really outstanding. Couchsurfing is incredible!
Traveling, art, theatre, live music, local beer, shared wine, family, people, good story-tellers, dancing, cooking and sharing meals, diy, vegetarianism, the ocean, animals, bicycles, people with good laughs, stretching, fresh herbs, writing letters, yoga, yard sales, exploring, wool socks, soy cappuccinos, film, you?!

Music, Movies, and Books
too many to list, but david bowie is my boyfriend.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Flying in a helicopter all over Gros Morne park, being dropped off under a rainbow in a fiord that would take a week to reach by foot, near waterfalls and places that no human has been able to access maybe ever and were absolutely stunning.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to knit, how to 'run the goat', how to pull a good espresso shot, how to make a mean veggie/vegan feast, how to rock an accordion, yoga flows and positions, and all kinds of theatre/film tricks and tips!
