Whomever is reading this: hej from Northern Germany!

This is where I live right now, in the little and charming city Flensburg. I grew up at the very other side of the country, in Freiburg close to the black forest. When I finished school, not much was holding me back, I grapped my bag and went straight to Sweden. I was staying in Stockholm for one year and worked as an au pair (one really sweet child, very busy parents). I fell in love with the country, the people and the language. When I got back, I started to study journalism. Good choice! Right know I am working at the local newspaper in Flensburg. I really missed traveling the last two years, Covid-19 (by the way: I received my booster-shot two weeks ago) hit Germany really hard and made It impossible to discover new places and meet new people.

I am easy-going, friendly, honest and straight-forward. I enjoy my own company as much as spending time with lovely people. I am a curious person and really hungry for experiences. In my free time I enjoy to read, write and spend time with friends (on the phone, FaceTime or in reality). I like to meditate, to swim and to go for long walks (preferably at the sea ;). As long I can remember I have a thing for Scandinavia!

Right now I enjoy a couple of weeks off work and decided to spend some time in my favourite country: Sweden. I plan to visit a friend in Stockholm and then head off to the North (Umea, Kiruna..). I am really excited!
