Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wouldn't have ever been able to travel the country on the budget I had so I am SO grateful to the hosts I've had and the people who were and are willing to help other achieve their goals. I would love to meet other travelers who are interested in exploring, and connect with more amazing people and hosts whose hearts are in the right place. As a Community Building focused person I think apps like these are key to connecting people with awesome intentions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate all kinds of music, especially if it's shown to me by someone who is passionate about it. Concerts are the best though, and I wish I could've seen some of the greats (Jimi) perform before they died.
I love action movies, historical dramas, thrillers and horror, but most especially love to laugh my ass off at comedies. (Dark comedies ftw)
Short stories, especially Stephen king, and chuck palahniuk's books are my favorite.

Teach, Learn, Share

I majored in philosophy so really enjoy general talks about peoples' philosophies, but have also spent a lot of time farming and traveling the country so I've learned a lot I'm willing to share like aromatherapy practices, how to make cheese and butter, how to build stuff and cook new recipes. If I don't know something I'll look it up or talk it out with you :)
