My name is Jenny Qin and I was born in Toronto! I speak English and Mandarin fluently, and I've been learning Japanese for a few years. I'm currently staying in Japan for a short summer study program, but I came one month early to explore. I love travelling!!

I'm travelling alone in Japan and I get anxious easily so I thought it would be good for me to find some sort of company. I would also love to practice speaking Japanese as I get really nervous when I'm conversing.
When I travel (and I travel a lot), I always end up staying in hotel rooms and not actually interacting with the culture of the country that I'm staying at. This year I would like to go out of my comfort zone and really try to experience something I haven't before!

Please teach me conversational Japanese! Japanese in textbooks is very different from the Japanese that people speak to each other. I would like to become better at conversing. Similarly, I can teach English (I was a tutor before!), Mandarin and even a bit of French.
