I am a 60 year old female, who shares my solar passive home on 5 acres with my dogs Bailey, an older English Pointer and Bree, a middle aged rescue shihtzu. I have 2 horses Luke whom I bred, and still ride and Finn a 3 yr old pacer I am now riding.
I am am a reasonable vegetarian cook and like to eat what I grow in my productive garden, eating according to what is in season where possible.
My friends and adult children are very important to me as I learn to navigate the next part of my life journey, a part of which is taking on new adventures which stretch my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My son has recently done a 5 month trip to North America and used couch surfing a lot. I have been impressed by the friendships and real life connections he has made and the depth to which this has added, not only to his travel experience, but also his general life experience. I see couch surfing as a win-win for both host and surfer and would like to share in this experience, to meet genuine, like minded people and be able to give freely.
