About Me

Hi, my friends call me Jenn and so can you:) Have you ever taken the MBTI? If so I’m a ENFJ, so I’m really outgoing and friendly person. May be a little shy at the beginning, but once I get to know someone I won’t shut up:) I could talk all day about politics and the injustices and the system we live in and at the same time about the new Dior lipgloss. Is all about balance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m travelling in May with a friend and would like to have some recommendations and experiences from locals. I feel like this life isn’t enough for me to meet so many interesting people, with different opinions, tastes and lessons. Looking forward to learning from new cultures and experiencing new music, art and cuisine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love Taylor Swift and love Noam Chomsky.

Actually I listen to all genres, from pop in English, Korean and Japanese, to some hits of Salsa, Bachata or Merengue. You know, we have more than reggaeton in Latin America. Have you heard about boleros? Ahh, it’s like a band-aid to the heart.

If I could recommend you some music right now, I would advise you to listen to the Tiny Desk session of Fuji Kaze on YouTube or to listen to the band “Daniel, me estás matando” which translates to “Daniel, you’re killing me” (ugh so good and so underrated).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most traumatic experience was diving into Lake Atitlán (39ft or 12 mts). Is not that much, but I’ve never done that before and I ended with my leg bruised. No regrets, wouldn’t do it again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue. It’s up to you which one you’d like to learn first!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowledge in salsa and other tropical/Caribbean genres.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
