Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a student living in Davis until June, and can host or go get coffee/hang out with people here. When I move back to San Francisco, I'll most likely be able to host there too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've helped my seasoned couch-surfer friend show a couple of couch surfers around the

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Almost Famous, Charlie Bartlett, Love Actually, Pirate Radio, About a Boy, Father's Day, While You Were Sleeping...
Music: The Head and the Heart, Bon Iver, Regina Spektor, The Civil Wars, The Shins, Girls, One Direction (shhh, don't tell anyone!), Bright Eyes, Sara Bareilles, M83, Girltalk, The New Pornographers, Imogen Heap. The list goes on and on.
I don't read nearly as much as I wish I did. :/ My favorite thing I've read recently was Tina Fey's Bossypants.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Kayaking in the fjords of Norway. It was at the end of the season, and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Very serene, breathtaking, unique experience.
-Having a moment of silence in a cave in Brazil.
-I went to Coachella this past weekend. it was one of the highlights of my life. So much great music everywhere! And I enjoy camping too (even though it was ridiculously hot). Every once in a while, you have to embrace dirt and grime. It's liberating in a way. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always curious to learn about other cultures and people's interesting life experiences. As far as a piece of knowledge/information to share with y'all? I identify as pansexual. Most people I encounter don't seem to know what this is, so I'll explain here: To me, being pansexual means that I'm "gender blind" for all intensive purposes. Whereas being bisexual implies a potential sexual attraction to males and females, pansexuality encompasses sexual attraction to others who don't necessarily identify as male or female as well as those who do. :)
